Day 1
Delhi to Thimphu - Fly to Paro Bhutan via Delhi, transfer to Thimpu.
Breakfast, transfer to Delhi International Airport to board flight to Paro - Bhutan . Upon arrival, you are greeted by our representative.
Drive Apx. 60 km. 1 hr. to Thimphu, the modern capital town of Bhutan, and an exciting blend of tradition and modernity. Overnight in Thimphu. Meals B.

Thimphu sightseeing.
Visit to Late King’s Memorial Stupa, nunnery temple, takin. Craft Bazar and National Handicraft Emporium. Evening free walk in
Thimphu City. Overnight in Thimphu. Meals B.

Day 3
Transfer to Punakha and Sightseeing.
Visit Textile Museum: Painting School; Later proceed to Punakha, Dochula pass (3,100m). If weather permits most
spectacular view of greater eastern Himalayas. If time permits, short excursion to the temple of divine madman.
Overnight in Punakha. Meals B.

Punakha sightseeing.
Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten. The hike will take you around 45 minutes each way. Punakha Dzong built the capital
city of Bhutan till 1955. Overnight in Punakha. Meals B

Transfer to Paro and Sightseeing.
Depart to Paro - visit to Ta Dzong (national Museum), Rinpung Dzong; 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang. Evening leisure. Overnight in Paro. Meals B

The hike to 8th century Taktsang.
Paro, The hike to 8th century Taktsang. Most iconic site in Bhutan. Overnight in Paro. Meals B

Day at Leisure & outbound flight for home | Departure

- Prices are in USD. All prices inclusive of taxes.
- Rupees exchange rate USD 1 = 87.00 rupees appx. Exchange rates may vary at the time of booking/payment.
- No bookings have been made and confirmations are subject to availability at the time of request.
- Cost is based on minimum Solo Traveler in a private room / 2 pax on twin sharing in a double room .
- Supplement room cost @ Delhi is extra and not included in package price.
- Supplement US$ 200 would levy after 31st May 2025
- Booking amount 50% upon registration with balance payable 60 days prior to arrival.
- Hotel Standard Check in at 2 Pm , Check out at 12pm .
Cancellations and refunds on tour package
Following are the cancellation fees per person per arrangement that will apply on tour cost
- All registration cancellations are subject to a $700 non-refundable service fee, plus
- Less than 150 days 15%
- Less than 120 days 40%
- Less than 61 days 50%
- Less than 45 days 80%
- Less than 15 days 100%
Delivery of Documents:
Travel documents will be handover upon arrival in India . We will send documents to you via email.
Passport, Visa and Health Requirements:
All U.S. citizens are required to have a valid passport and Indian visa. The cost of obtaining your passport and visa are not included in the tour price. Cal India Tours will assist tour members to obtain their visa, by forwarding electronic visa link.
